Our programs are focused on teaching the whole child and embracing him/her as a child of God. Welcome to a high quality early learning environment for young children. Our program is focused on the whole child and embracing him/her as a child of God. We encourage positive social and emotional interactions within the group. The setting is a safe, nurturing place where the children are encouraged to become risk takers in the learning process. The curriculum is rooted in gospel values and provides a strong academic foundation which includes active participation and creativity. The program offers a balance of free choice and guided activities in learning stations.

Child Care programs are an integral but separate and non-essential part of the education opportunities provided by Assumption Parish Catholic School. Our Child Care programs operate on a balanced budget and function in accordance with the Mission Statement, education and formation philosophy, policies and regulations of Assumption Parish School. Assumption’s before and after school care (Extended Care) is state licensed, self-supporting, and serves as an extension of the school day. It is licensed to serve students ages 5 through 12. Since these programs are an extension of the school day, they operate only on the days the school is in session. Extended Care can be used on an intermittent basis, on an emergency basis, or on a regular basis. Regardless of how parents choose to use the program or even anticipate to use it, all necessary registration forms must be completed and on file. All participating families are given a separate extended care handbook at their time of registration.
