Our babies’ room offers care to children aged 0-24 months with two qualified, caring, and experienced educators. The baby room has a flexible, spontaneous program which is based on the emergent curriculum and incorporates the ELYF. Children are provided with many different developmental activities and experiences in a warm, nurturing environment. Educators have built trusting and professional relationships with parents and families and work closely together to ensure the highest care and attention is provided to all your treasured ones in our care.

Program is based upon the emergent curriculum and incorporates the EYLF. Children are provided with many educational, fun and developmentally appropriate experiences and activities, and focuses around families input. We have an open door policy in all our rooms and encourage as much family involvement as you are able to give.

Junior Kindy is the next big step the toddlers enjoy taking as it is located in our senior centre (upstairs) and is always an adventure for the children during their transition. Junior Kindy has two qualified educators to ten children aged between 30 – 36 months. Programme is based on the emergent curriculum and incorporates the EYLF. Children are involved in many fun, educational and interesting learning experiences, activities and opportunities to extend their learning and interests.

Senior Kindy has two educators to twenty-two children aged between 36 months – four years and focuses on the emergent curriculum and incorporates the EYLF. Children are offered opportunities to extend their thinking, problem solving, and investigation skills and many hands on experiences, whilst developing their independence and confidence to take the next big step into kindergarten.

Small world offers the Government Approved and recognised Kindergarten program to our children aged between 4 – 5 years. Our kindergarten room has a fully qualified Early Childhood Teacher and a Qualified Assistant educator who ensure your children are involved in creating wonderful memories, in a fun filled year before they take the next the next step into “Big School”. Many children in our Kindergarten class have been together since they began their journey in the baby service and many will continue their friendships as they attend many of the local schools in our area.
