The Schoolhouse program is designed to stimulate and enrich the absorbent minds of children ages 3 to 6. Two mixed-age group classrooms make up the Schoolhouse, each equipped with a cozy library, practical life kitchen area, bathroom, and multiple common areas.
Both classrooms have a lead and assistant teacher that guide the classroom through daily Montessori work periods. During these periods, the teacher engages each child with works they might be interested in and gives them a lesson on how to use it. Once students are comfortable with Montessori materials they work independently to build foundations in reading, writing, math, and problem-solving. By the time students are ready for elementary school, they have grown in coordination, concentration, and independence, among others.
The capacity for each classroom is 24 students.
