Our infant program, the Chickadees, provides a fun, safe and nurturing environment for your baby. The Laurel Tree Academy is your baby’s “home away from home”. To ensure a relationship of trust and emotional security, your baby will be cared for by a “Primary Caregiver”, a caregiver primarily responsible for meeting the needs of your baby each day. Your Caregiver will work closely with you to ensure that we follow the same, familiar routine that your baby has at home. Caregivers will hold, cuddle, talk and sing to your baby to help develop a familiar and loving bond.

Our toddler program, the Sparrows, is an early development program designed for active, curious and mobile toddlers. We offer a fun and safe atmosphere that encourages physical, emotional and intellectual growth. Because this will be one of the busiest times in your child’s life, our teachers are energetic, engaging, and ready to help each toddler explore the world around them. They read, sing and play throughout the day which results in vocabulary advances for every child.

Our two year old program, the Hummingbirds, meets the rapidly advancing needs of children between the ages of 2-3, in a fun, safe and supportive environment. We discover our world by exploring and experimenting with art, music, science, language, literature, technology and math. As we play, we talk about numbers, weather, seasons, weights and measures, colors, feelings, family, shapes, letters, concepts, sounds and so much more! Our goal is to help children learn in ways that are meaningful for them.

Our three year old program, the Owls, offers children between the ages of 3-4 the opportunity to explore and investigate the exciting and diverse world around them – all while practicing cooperative play skills, investigative methods and conflict resolution. Our caring teachers encourage developmental growth and gently guide each child along their own unique learning path. Our well-designed, play-based curriculum supports learning throughout the areas of physical, social, emotional, science, math, arts, music, language and literacy.

At Laurel Tree Academy, we can make your child’s summer a memorable one with summer camps in Mt. Laurel and Lumberton, NJ. Our summer camp program has been bringing kids back year after year to experience the fun! Each week brings new and exciting themes combined with activities, visitors and trips. We have a very creative and energetic staff on hand who will help make your child’s summer a memorable one.

Our Pre-K program, the Eagles, prepares children for elementary school by encouraging them to PLAY! Preparing a child for elementary school is so much more than teaching them their letters and numbers. The most current research proves that children learn best by doing what they do best – PLAYING. Children at this stage of development are eager to explore the world around them by investigating, analyzing, solving problems and building knowledge. A carefully designed and teacher supported curriculum creates learning opportunities from activities that children tend to gravitate towards.
