Infants (3 mos - 1 yr)
Infancy is a tender, remarkable time of growth and development in a child’s life. In our Bright Baby infant program, emphasis is placed on the child’s physical needs, such as feeding and diapering, as well as interpersonal interaction. Each infant classroom is designed to develop physical, emotional, social and cognitive skills for babies between the ages of six weeks and twelve months. Enrollment in the infant room may be extended based on a child's developmental needs. At most of our locations, we provide Similac formula and baby food as part of our program along with a structured day.
Toddlers (1 - 2 yrs)
Magical things happen after a child celebrates their first birthday. Once a vulnerable infant, this young toddler is now ready to take on the world. Our Smart Steps Toddler Academy is designed to accommodate all these exciting milestones and foster this new-found independence.
Twos (2 - 3 yrs)
Two year olds are a busy group - physically and verbally! Our Ready 2 Learn two year old program fosters the critical relationship building that occurs at this age, supporting intellectual and social development.
Threes (3 - 4 yrs)
Three year olds are full of curiosity and spend a great deal of time observing the world around them. Our program uses this opportunity to focus on academic readiness skills.
Pre-K (4 - 5 yrs)
Childcare Network prekindergarten programs aim to prepare young children to be “ready to learn” when they enter kindergarten. Research in brain development shows that early learning experiences directly influence a child’s ability to succeed in school, and children who participate in quality prekindergarten programs are more likely to show strengths in language, reasoning, problem solving, social skills, behavior and emotional health. We utilize a comprehensive curriculum that is flexible, engaging, and fun for children. Our Pre-K programs provide standards-based classroom support materials, family connection components, and easy-to-understand strategies for putting it all together and achieving school readiness.
