The Infant Room offers a stimulating introduction to home-away-from-home care. At Mustard Seed Kidz, your baby will have several caregivers who will learn what makes your baby comforted and happy. Knowing your baby’s comfort level will enable the caregivers to develop a personalized routine for your baby. Through familiarity your precious angels will gain a sense of stability and control.

At Mustard Seed Kidz, your child will have caregivers who understand the transition between infancy and toddlerhood. With great affection and consistency, they help your child practice making choices, set reasonable expectations, make suggestions rather than commands, and suggest alternative activities when trouble is brewing. Creating a warm and enjoyable environment is the key to making your child enjoy learning. Your child’s caregivers will encourage independence while letting your child know there is someone they can depend on within reach. They’ll help your child master soft climbers as well as develop balance and motor skills. They’ll help explore creativity with paints, crayons, and play dough. Your child will expand their imaginations through numerous centers including: house, dress-up, construction and legos. After an exhausting play-time, your child can reach a sense of calm in the quiet corner- filled with pillows and picture books. While our caregivers take care of more than one child, they make time for individual attention. They listen and offer feedback to your child so he or she knows they’ve been heard.

Terrific 2’S! What a fun and exciting time for your child. This time in life involves activity, creativity and exploration. Children at this age love to do multiple tasks. They are easily distracted and look forward to variety in play. Through rotating activities, your child will be ecstatically amused throughout the day.

Each preschool teacher is certified in Early Childhood Development or higher degrees, and/or additional related experience with children. Each teacher has been individually selected based upon their steadfast love of the Lord and teaching children in the way they should go. Your child’s teacher will guide your child on a positive path to increase self-esteem and independence. Your child will be fully prepared for the next big step-VPK.

Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) is a legislatively mandated program designed to prepare every four-year-old in Florida for kindergarten and build the foundation for their educational success. The VPK program gives each child an opportunity to perform better in school and throughout life with quality programs that include high literacy standards, accountability, appropriate curricula, substantial instruction periods, manageable class sizes, and qualified instructors.

For school-age children, MSK provides: Dedicated classrooms for school-age programs; Teachers who assist children with their homework; Huge playgrounds with fun, safe equipment; Nutritious afternoon snacks; Transportation to and from local elementary schools; Planned arts & crafts activities; Big screen TV, classic video games, computers, and more; A wide variety of extra-curricular activities.
