Every moment with an infant is precious, and we take advantage of that. We coo, cuddle, rock, sing, and bond with your baby. Our specially designed infant care rooms are places where babies feel safe, secure, and happy. Personal cribs and separate areas for changing and feeding ensure clean playing, eating, and sleeping spaces. Our loving teachers begin the foundational work for later learning and help infants develop motor skills through simple games like peek-a-boo. But we never forget that you are your child’s most important teacher, so we’ll work with you, give you daily reports and offer tips on reinforcing what your child learns in their time with us.

One year olds are busy, busy little learners with lots of new things to explore. We specialize in channeling all that energy into things that help toddlers learn and grow. Individual learning centers throughout the classroom let your child explore and be adventurous in a safe space with child-sized furniture. Coral Reef Academy teachers lead young one year olds through age-appropriate activities to improve coordination, increase verbal skills and learn to problem solve. Toddlers will learn to express themselves through singing, dancing, reading, and art. Our curriculum is based on the idea that children are naturally curious and motivated to learn. So we provide them with the materials and experiences to help them understand and communicate in ways most meaningful.

At Coral Reef Academy, three and four-year-olds learn and grow in an educational environment created explicitly for expanding minds. Every child’s development is unique and complex. Preschoolers learn primarily through exploring, using all senses. They become better able to ignore distractions and focus on the tasks at hand. They love to listen to and understand conversations, stories, songs, and poems. They are learning their letters and realize that print in a book tells readers what to say. Our preschool classrooms are a rich print environment that enables our three and four-year-olds to explore through play, and our classes provide them with the ability to explore the world around them busily.

Getting ready to move up to Kindergarten is exciting – and we want your child to stay excited about learning. Our curriculum helps children develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills they’ll need to succeed in Kindergarten, school and life. Teachers plan lessons to deepen understanding of basic academic concepts through exploration, investigation, and play. And of course, we make sure they learn all they need to be successful students in Kindergarten and beyond. We provide a place where children can challenge themselves and enjoy the thrill of discovery as they look forward to school. School-age kids want to feel all grown up, yet they still crave comfort and security. Our program is designed to support their increasing interests in sports, art, music, and more, both before and after school. Teachers provide a balance of organized and self-selected activities, all in a positive, supportive atmosphere.
