Our Infant Care program, for babies ages 6 weeks to 12 months, provides each child with plenty of personal attention in our safe, friendly, and fun Infant room. Your baby will get the kind of face time and one-on-one interaction necessary for emotional development. Both during personal care activities such as feeding times, diaper changes, and getting dressed, and during play time at their level, our experienced childcare staff is hands on. We also use digital communication tools to give you real time updates and a daily report of your infant’s eating and sleeping habits as well as diaper changes direct to your smartphone. Parents also have an additional level of confidence knowing can the infant room is always monitored with secured HD cameras by administrative staff. Unlike many infant care programs that have prescribed nap times, the Summit Kids Hatchling program allows our infants to rest when their bodies decide they need to nap. Using your input as parents, we structure your baby’s schedule around their physical needs and daily care rituals, and incorporate music activities and plenty of free play with our large collection of age-appropriate infant toys.

Summit Kids Academy offers toddler care for children aged 1 and 2 years. Our toddler program in Lake Worth and Boynton Beach recognizes that once children are past their first year of life and leave the baby stage behind, they need a lot more stimulation and chances to play, move, and learn in a safe environment. That’s just what your toddler will get at Summit Kids Academy! Toddlers love to experiment with their new independence and sense of self, but need a safe setting in which to explore. Our Toddler classrooms provide just the right environment for your child’s growth and development, because all of the equipment, toys, furnishings, and learning materials are age appropriate for these little explorers. Like all of our programs, Summit Kids Academy’s Toddler Care is geared to helping kids explore and learn about their world while enhancing their social, emotional, physical, creative, linguistic and cognitive development. We also work closely with parents, who can get multiple updates and interactive messaging through our digital communication.

From the ages of 2 through 3 and 4, children become ready for more challenging learning that will help prepare them for school. Summit Kids Academy makes learning fun for your 2, 3 and 4 year-olds with our progressive stages preschool program. Your preschooler will move from learning autonomous skills and self-expression to potty training, physical coordination, socialization and beyond in our nurturing environment. We’ve always found that children learn best through play. That’s why we use a theme-based approach that stimulates your child’s curiosity and engages kids in the subject at hand. Our interactive curriculum helps preschool children develop skills in literacy, problem-solving, mathematical thinking and creativity. Summit Kids prides itself on a philosophy of focusing on each child as an individual, allowing kids to be the architects of their own development by including both structured and unstructured activities, and adapting activities to provide a better challenge.

Balancing the right amount of learning and fun to bring out the best of each child is our focus. Our enriched Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) program will prepare your child for kindergarten and beyond by developing learning in language, math, and reasoning, while continuing to extend his or her building of social and emotional skills. If your child is 4 years old by September 1st, he or she is eligible to participate in this Florida-wide program that readies students for Kindergarten by engaging them in a program that assesses kids on physical development, approaches to learning, social and emotional development, language, communication, emergent literacy, cognitive development and general knowledge.

Making sure your child is grade ready for the upcoming school year will be our priority while still maintaining a summer camp atmosphere. Led by our professional schoolteacher staff, we will host weekly themes inspired by STEM and literacy programming and will keep your child excited about learning this summer. Programs will also feature art, building and sports in our developing outdoor classroom and away from screens! 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (extended hours available) All lunches and snacks provided $200/week (2 week minimum)

Art has always been a cornerstone to Summit Kids Academy programs. For our school age children we are proud to present to a program geared to the visual arts. Through a variety of mediums and art styles, your young artist will learn techniques and appreciation for all things art. Summit Kids Academy’s Creative Art Program will put the emphasis on the development of a visual language based on the child’s own artistic expression. Projects will include sketching, drawing, acrylic painting, watercolor, mixed media, design, and sculpture. Each project will be tailored to children’s interests and abilities, ensuring that every child gets the most out of their experience. Art is an enriching experience full of discovery and challenges but like all Summit Kids programs, the focus is always on fun and positivity. Come make meaningful artwork the whole family will be proud of. If your child will be enrolling at one of the schools we service, we will be happy to pick up your child after school and bring them back to our facility. Otherwise, you are welcome to drop off your child at Summit starting at 3:00 PM.
