The Baby Room is for children as young as 6 weeks old to children that are beginning to take steps on their own. The Baby Room has a no shoe policy in order to keep the environment clean for the children to explore on.

The Waddler's Room is designed for mobile children who are walking steadily up to 24 months old. It has a no shoe policy to keep the environment clean for exploration.

The Preschool Room is for children ages 36 months old through 48 months old. Children entering the Preschool Room must be fully toilet trained. CFS preschool program follows a play-based philosophy.

Through play, children will develop many important skills to help guide them through their adult lives. Play has many different components. Each one helps children develop different skills. Motor or physical play promotes development in gross and fine muscle strength and coordination. Social play helps children progresses through different social stages and help children understand social rules such as, sharing, cooperation, and turn taking. Constructive play helps children learn the basic knowledge of building, crafting, manipulating and experimenting with materials. Pretend or fantasy play helps children develop flexible thinking where they can stretch their imagination and create a whole new world with endless possibilities. Games with rules helps children develop an understanding of rules and social contracts, which are important elements that help children comprehend the social rules of life. At CFS, the teachers provide many opportunities for children to engage in a variety of indoor and outdoor play. CFS teachers also understand that children at this age learn by doing, and doing requires hands-on activities. By providing preschoolers with different interest centers, children will be able to interact and participate in what they choose to work on.

The School Age program is an after school program for children entering Kindergarten through 12 years old. Our program is designed to support children with their academic needs. In order for children to thrive in their academic studying and develop a lifelong love of learning, they will need support and encouragement from all individuals that interact with them on a daily basis. At CFS, the school aged teachers are trained to help guide children in developing a strong foundation in their study routine starting from when they enter Kindergarten. CFS incorporated a consistent daily schedule for when children are encouraged to work on homework assignments and long term school projects. Additionally, CFS is committed to keeping an open line of communication with each child’s elementary school teacher to help support their academic growth. CFS school aged teachers provide children with age-appropriate, enriched group activities based on children’s interests, strengths and needs to enhance social/emotional skills that children will need to manage the many conflicts that they will encounter throughout their adult lives. As children learn how to resolve conflicts with their peers, the teachers’ main role is to be facilitators and mediators.
