Our classroom provides an ideal environment to foster individual development and self-help skills. We use a scaffolded approach to learning through systematically building on students' experiences and knowledge as they are acquiring new skills in order to enhance learning and aid in the mastery of tasks.

Two year olds want to, and need to, explore their environment. We show our two year olds how to explore safely and get them excited to learn. Our twos’ curriculum is designed to facilitate the need to explore while introducing our children to the Building Kidz academic curriculum in a developmentally appropriate manner. Our curriculum for three year olds is leveled up from the twos’ curriculum. Children review prior concepts before they begin to learn new concepts. Beyond the benefit of retention, this approach is also helpful for children who are attending Building Kidz for the first time as a three year old. Our three year olds review the alphabet, numbers 1 through 10, and basic colors and shapes. As the year progresses, our children learn about creating tertiary colors from primary and secondary ones and learn about different shapes. Three year olds are more verbal than two year olds and participate in discussions throughout the year. They can also handle more responsibility so we ensure they play a more active role in their development.

Our preschool curriculum allows our children to thrive and introduces language, math, science, and social skills in a way that encourages learning at every child’s own pace. Our children strengthen their cognitive and social skills with fun memory games and team activities which combine creative expression with a tactile experience in a group setting. Math and science skills are developed with hands-on experiences and supported by elements of the performing arts. Language experiences are introduced with performing arts integration to support accelerated literacy and language development.
