To be considered for enrollment in our program for children who are 3 years old, a child must be three years old and potty trained by September 1st. In this program a child will experience play-based learning of colors, shapes, number sense, phonemic awareness, name recognition, science, music, movement, age-appropriate fine and gross motor skills, problem solving, vocabulary and language development, and socialization.

Play-based learning with emphasis on kindergarten readiness, focusing on letter recognition, letter sounds, number sense, writing name, books, stories, poetry, communication, and friendship.

A five-day per week program, the TK program is designed for children who are chronologically eligible to enter Kindergarten but would benefit from another year of preschool, and in some cases, children who just miss the cut-off date for Kindergarten. The emphasis of TK is Kindergarten readiness. Children in TK continue to work on fine motor skills, writing their name, learning letter names, letter sounds, and letter shapes through the use of Alpha friends and math concepts through many Math Their Way activities. Throughout the year, within the classroom setting, our TK students have the opportunity to learn from a variety of talented Expert Presenters.
