Discovery Montessori Preschool offers much more for children than simply daycare. We provide a stimulating learning environment, appropriate for curious and growing preschoolers. The Montessori Method of teaching offers children a chance to become enchanted with the love of learning by exploring the carefully prepared environment. Our center provides a child driven program with the staff guiding and encouraging children at their own pace. We help each child perfect his or her natural tools, or building blocks for future learning. We provide an extensive collection of specialized Montessori learning materials, which are child friendly and inviting, displayed on accessible open shelves. Our children work together in a multi-age classroom where we encourage cooperation and where children learn from each other in a natural community environment. Our goal is to create an environment where self-expression and learning are enjoyable, for both individual development and group learning.
