Pre-Toddlers (1 yr - 1 yr 8 mos)
Pre-Toddlers focuses on helping children learn to socialize and interact with each other. Lesson plans include shapes, colors and sign language. Pre-toddlers enjoy hands-on learning through a variety of activities and sensory.
Toddlers (1 yr 8 mos - 2 yrs 6 mos)
Our toddler classroom introduces letters, numbers, colors and shapes. Lesson plans include language development, learning the alphabet, recognizing numbers and learning to count. At this stage, toddlers are becoming more independent and our teachers promote practicing life skills like hand washing, picking up toys and sharing with friends. Toddlers enjoy hands-on learning through a variety of activities and sensory experiences.
Preschool Transition (2 yrs 6 mos - 3 yrs)
The preschool transition classroom serves a wide range of abilities and needs. Our preschool transition teachers devote time to observing and listening to the children within the context of a play-based learning environment. Our preschool transition teachers are dedicated to providing a fun, inclusive classroom environment iroment.
Preschool (3 - 4 yrs)
The preschool classroom serves a wide range of abilities and needs. Preschool teachers devote time to observing and listening to the children within the context of a play-based learning environment. From these observations, a lesson plan is created to meet the range of developmental needs and skills while also striving to challenge each child. Developing self-control, helping others solve problems, gaining confidence in overcoming obstacles, facing setbacks and solving problems are also the focus in the preschool classroom.
Pre-K (4 - 5 yrs)
Our pre-k class promotes cooperative play to learn problem solving through lesson plans that teach the children to use independent reasoning and develop manners and social skills. Our teachers introduce the structure of a classroom setting and concentrate on early reading and math skills. Language lessons include story time followed by content questions. The goal in this classroom is to achieve kindergarten readiness.
Infant (0 - 1 yrs)
In the infant room, we strive to create a calm, nurturing environment. Infant teachers work hard to support family relationships and help babies feel safe and secure. In the infant room, we fill the individual needs of each child.
