Our infant program will provide a loving, nurturing atmosphere where your child will receive lots of attention from our experienced and well trained staff. At Bright Star Kids Academy, we believe it is very important for a baby to "bond" with their caregiver and feel safe. We provide a bright, happy, area with soft toys, infant-size climbing structures, and musical toys. Infants are encouraged to touch and explore their surroundings. Caregivers read, sing and play with the Infants . ​Parents provide all meals for their infants, until they are able to eat our food served at the center. A separate sleeping area separates all active, awake infants We follow all "safe sleep practices" required of all state licensed facilities. A daily electronic report sent to your email thru "tadpoles" shows all diaper changes, bottles, feedings and sleep plus occasionally photos of a child's day.

Our staff endorses family involvement because we believe it is critical to a child’s success. A foremost goal of our staff is to build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families. Frequent communication is encouraged and a tadpole report is prepared each day that summarizes basics such as eating, toileting, resting and their overall disposition. Developmentally Appropriate Curriculum: Our program is designed to provide many opportunities for children to have valuable learning experiences through play. Children learn in an environment where creative play, spontaneous exploration and play-oriented learning are encouraged. Hands-on activities that stimulate learning in all developmental areas - intellectual, social, emotional and physical are integrated throughout the curriculum. ​A daily report thru tadpoles is sent to your email that shows all diaper changes, bottles, feedings and sleep.

Learning Environment: Classroom furniture and equipment are arranged in several clearly defined interest areas that enable children to find, use, and return the materials they need in order to explore, invent, and learn about their world. Daily Routine: Each day follows a similar schedule of events, providing consistency for both children and adults. The Preschool class routines gives children the opportunity to pursue their own interests, make plans, follow through on them, and reflect on their experiences with peers and adults.
