Our Infant class provides an environment specifically suited to the developmental needs of very young children to become more self-sufficient and capable by following the directives of Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy. Dr. Montessori had a special vision for the very young child, and we manifest this in our infant program. Materials and equipment are specifically designed to help little muscles develop coordination, helping the child gain independence and self-esteem. In the Infant classroom the teacher’s job is to closely observe the child and present appropriate activities according to the needs of the child (Sensitive Period). One of the most important roles of a Montessori Directness is to adjust to the infants’ changing needs and help infants make an easy transition from one developmental stage to another. Teachers in the infant classroom either hold a Montessori teacher’s diploma or have an early childhood background with teaching experience.

Our Toddler program is designed to provide the tools for children to do things on their own. We provide materials that support our students’ need for independence as well as their physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. This environment promotes the child to grow and develop according to his own potential and is self paced. Our highly trained teachers focus on providing meaningful activities that promote and allow exploration, movement, concentration, fine & gross motor development, language, and order. These activities and experiences are the foundation for their future academic success. Teachers in the toddler classroom either hold a Montessori teacher’s diploma or have an early childhood background with teaching experience.

Primary classrooms are specifically designed to focus on the individuality of each child in respect of their needs and talents, as opposed to the needs of the class as a whole. We foster the process of self-creation by providing an environment in which the child can develop independently at his or her own pace while still gaining those social, physical, intellectual and emotional skills needed to function at best in society. Montessori believes that all children have within them their future self. For them to develop to their utmost potential, freedom to choose activities within an environment especially designed to help them fulfill their needs is essential. The Montessori curriculum, techniques and materials satisfy the natural tendency for this age. Independence, coordination, order, and concentration are developed through the materials. The children learn through doing, experiencing the joy of individual discovery and mastery on their own terms, at their own speed. Included within these subject areas are geography, science, art and music. The Primary Montessori Program is based on the three-year cycle, with the third year serving as the culmination of the preparatory work during the first two years.
