The Toddler classroom is like a two and a half feet tall explorer’s wonderland. Low shelving showcases the toddler’s inviting activities. There are beautiful baskets and easy to carry trays. The walls are quiet without a lot of visual distraction. The children indulge in innumerable practical life and sensorial exercises. These lead to the development of large and small motor skills.

The primary classroom comprises children from the ages of 3 to 6 years. Each child works at his or her own pace and level. In the primary classroom, an emphasis is placed on the exploration of materials and activities that help the child actively develop skills such as independence, concentration, self-discipline, and coordination.

The After-School program is for the Elementary children who attend the local public schools. They will be picked up from their respective school by Breckinridge Montessori and dropped off at Breckinridge Montessori. They will be able to have an afternoon snack, outdoor playtime, receive help on homework, and complete homework.

The infant program at Breckinridge Montessori School in Richardson is unique. The care takers are compassionate and nurturing. They are trained to interact with the babies. There is a lot of floor practice time. The cloth tunnels around the room intrigue the children and create a safe exploration environment. There is always an aura of calmness with low classical Beethoven or Mozart playing in the background.
