The Infant Classrooms are committed to promote a balance between home and school environment,by following individual care plans submitted by parents. Our infant program is designed with materials and activities that stimulate brain development. Infant curriculum includes opportunities for visual and tactile stimulation, language development, small and large motor development that is appropriate for even our very youngest learners. Babies are held, loved, and nurtured by our caring staff that understand the needs, and appropriate care with Lots of Love. Depending on the needs of the child our daily activities include buggy ride,Tummy time,Music, Story time, Art etc.

The Montessori Toddler environment is carefully prepared to aid the toddler in achieving independence. Children who are now comfortably walking leave the nest and move to a space that fits their growing physical needs. Dr. Montessori was one of the first educators to recognize the first few years of a child’s life as critical to the development of personality and intellect. Toddlers are actively seeking out information, they learn quickly and easily, and are especially interested in demonstrating independence. Our toddler classrooms allow them the freedom to learn as much as they can, as quickly as possible. At this stage, we stress social interaction with other children, development of language and practical life skills, and music and movement activities. The curriculum also includes activities that allow the young children to develop fine and gross motor coordination and visual discrimination through the senses and learning materials. This curriculum prepares the toddler for advancement to the Pre-Primary and Primary class.

The Pre-Primary class is an environment prepared to meet the developmental needs and high energy levels of children who are transitioning from toddler to pre schooler. Of particular importance in this program is preparation of children for the larger works of the primary classroom with a focus on self-care including grace and courtesy, internal self discipline and the ability to make choices in the classroom. In addition to being exposed to math materials that help the children develop an awareness of numbers, counting and basic math operations, at this stage the children also have access to a special language area with materials to develop the preliminary skills for writing and reading. Specially-created materials in the Pre-Primary room serve to give the children a sense of satisfaction and become more independent in their learning.

The Primary classroom, for age group three to six years old, is carefully designed for children to “learn by doing.” It is a calm, structured space constructed to meet a child’s individual needs. Here, your child experiences a blend of freedom and discipline in a space especially designed for his or her optimal development. individual learning experiences, as well as one-on-one interactions, which are integral to the Montessori Method. As children get older, they tend to see things that adults find ordinary as very interesting and special. Practical life exercises like sorting, pouring, or washing dishes absorb them completely. Montessori learning revolves around tangible, hands-on experiences, which help to control and coordinate the mind and body. Children use concrete materials to learn math; movable alphabet letters to explore language; and cubes, cylinders and other objects to categorize, find spatial relationships, and more.
