Between the ages of 18 months – 3 years old, children are eager and ready to learn. Starwood Schools provides an age-appropriate education for toddlers to promote a gentle transition into our Primary Program Using tools and lessons from the Montessori Method, toddlers in our program will have a great head start in their education as they learn to move, think, and discover new information independently. We have a warm and welcoming environment with teachers who are ready to provide guidance and support but our students are also widely encouraged to be the leader of their education, even at a young age.

Between the ages of 3-6, children are in an exciting period of growth and development in which they begin to learn concrete academic, social, and language skills. They develop their unique personalities and shape much of their focus towards learning during this critical stage. In Starwood School’s Primary Program, children can gain a sense of independence and harbor an eagerness to learn through the proven techniques based on the Montessori Method. During the Primary school years, students can establish a lifelong passion for learning and discover the benefits of Montessori education.

Children have an amazing capacity to learn when they are between the ages of 6 and 12. In our classrooms, students may excel at different rates and progress at their own pace. In a traditional Elementary School environment, students who advance faster than others may be bored as lessons progress, while other students might not fully grasp the material before the next subject is introduced. With Starwood School’s Elementary Program, students are on their own paths for learning with self-paced lessons guided by Montessori-certified instructors who are familiar with each student’s strengths and weaknesses.
