The oldest toddler rooms engage children in activities that promote and create healthy learning styles. Children are given opportunities to explore several forms of writing, through art activities, letter recognition through daily play and building words on the magnet wall. Fine/Gross motor skills are practiced in various forms from shoe tying, puzzles, and stacking towers. Allowing children to learn in a way that captures their attention and wholesomely express/explore themselves helps them create those building blocks for future educational endeavors. These classrooms will participate in circle time, a time in the morning which is allotted to allow children to express what they did the day before and how their morning was, thus encouraging those linguistic skills.
