Infants in our program, between the ages of 2 and 24 months, need to be nurtured and feel safe and secure while they practice their newly acquired skills which include physical, sensory, social, emotional, and intellectual development. Koala Park provides infant care with a rich developmentally appropriate learning environment and experiences that are consistent with each child’s personality, preference, capabilities and cultural background. Through play and language experiences, the loving staff provides an atmosphere in which each infant is the focus, expressing pleasure in new accomplishments and encouraging an eager “greet the world” attitude.

In the Preschool program, children from 2 through 4 years of age learn from one another as they interact in an in-home educational setting. They learn how to care, help, work, play and cooperate with each other. Learning in a mixed age group stimulates greater interest and encourages cooperation. The younger children learn through observation of the older children modeling behavior. The two, three and four year old’s social and intellectual development is enhanced by this method of age blending. Mixed age groups enhance both younger and older children’s inspiration and self-confidence. This legacy of bonding and serving others is the focal point of the mixed age-group setting.
