Yvelisse's Wonderschool is located in a spacious, beautiful apartment in the East Williamsburg neighborhood.<br/><br/>I have designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include manipulatives and math area (for fine motor skills and beginning math concepts), reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite), and sensory area (for spatial awareness and learning through the five senses).<br/><br/>Every day, our children will have some outdoor time at a local playground or will go on walks through the neighborhood. It's so important for children to be outside and to be active! They need space to run, jump, and move as they build their strength and continue to grow.<br/><br/>At Yvelisse's Wonderschool, I am determined to provide a loving home away from home where children will develop their cognitive, social, and emotional skills with age appropriate socialization and activities.
