Our babies are held, snuggled, rocked and loved. The youngest infants eat, sleep and play on an individual schedules while our older infants are beginning to experience small group activities including lunch! Our babies love floor time with their teachers and friends. We have a wide variety of toys and materials for play and exploration, all with varying levels of challenge. Stories, songs and music are part of each and every day- and occur spontaneously as well as at scheduled times.

The O’Keeffe Infant Studio is an open space for play and exploration and adjoins with the Dali Room. Its natural light makes it the perfect place for special infant and wobbler activities. The O’Keeffe Infant Studio was built to accommodate those children who have outgrown the Dali Room but are not yet ready for the Picasso Toddler Room.

In The Picasso Room, our toddlers and two-year-olds are busy playing! Throughout the day, children sit in laps and lie on the floor as we read stories, sing songs and work with puppets. We create an environment that offers an ever-changing variety of play centers, focusing on home life, building and construction, puzzles, sensory activities, art experiences as well as science and nature. Every day, we incorporate both large and fine motor activities. In this room, we focus on self-help, independence and age-appropriate conflict resolution.

The community around us serves as an extension of curriculum providing ample opportunity for experiences including field trips, visitors and community involvement.

The Mosaic Room offers a diverse learning environment that will foster your child’s enthusiasm and passion for learning by offering age appropriate challenges and creative experiences. Throughout the day, the students will participate in various play centers, structured and unstructured art studio activities including sensory play, large and small group classroom instruction and interactive activities. Our activities and lessons support the social-emotional, physical and cognitive stages of your child’s development.
