Infant (1 mo - 1 yr 2 mos)
Our Infant Program sets its pace around the needs and unique differences of each child. Every moment a young child's day offers opportunities for learning. The skilled educator catches these moments and helps each baby establish trust, discover and feel good about themselves, tackle a motor task, realize the power of language, and begin to understand this strange new world from many angles. Routines are the curriculum for an infant's day. Our infants will gain various perspectives through experiences such as crawling, stroller rides, outdoor play, art, rocking, feeding, and other routines that are viewed as a vital time for communication, self-discovery, and socializing. Our Teachers also use the IL Early Learning Guidelines for ages birth to 3 years to ensure each child is meeting or exceeding milestone development.
Toddler (1 yr 3 mos - 2 yrs)
Toddlers learn more by doing and seeing, than by being told. Toddlers discover their world on a physical level. Therefore, they are active explorers and eager to try new things and use materials in different ways. In the Toddler Program, with patience and respect, our teachers redirect toddlers to help guide them toward controlling their impulses and behaviors. Our Teachers utilize the IL Early Learning Guidlines to ensure each child is meeting or exceeding developmental milestones. The Toddler class focuses on the introduction Colors and Shapes, Textures and materials, and transitioning into a more structured environment.

Preschool (2 - 3 yrs)
2-3 year olds discover their world on a physical level. Therefore, they are active explorers and eager to try new things and use materials in different ways. In the 2's and 3's Program, with patience and respect, our teachers redirect the children to help guide them toward controlling their impulses and behaviors. Our Teachers utilize the IL Early Leaning Guidelines and start to incorporate the IL Early Learning and Development Standards. This class focuses on Colors and Shapes, Letter recognition, and Number recognition. By using weekly themes our teachers are able to incorporate learning standards into each lesson. The classroom is set up into different learning centers each with its own set of developmental learning standards. The weekly theme is brought into each center. The teachers also screenchildren to ensure developmental milestones are being met.
Mon-Fri , 6:00am - 6:00pm
Pre-Kindergarten (4 - 6 yrs)
Pre-K classes prepare children for the structure and schedule that they will be subjected to in Kindergarten. This is of tremendous benefit to the student as they start the year with an advantage over those children who did not attend a Pre-K program. Our Pre-K curriculum and daily schedule is based on kindergarten level learning activities. The Pre-Kindergarten Program includes activities centering on communication, writing, science, math, social studies, music, art, large and small motor development, and dramatic play opportunities that reinforce learning of practical life experiences. Our teachers follow the IL Early Learning and Development Standards. The classroom resembles a Pre-K and Kindergarten class found in the Public school systems and the children move thru centers during the day. Each "center" and activity aligns with a State of Illinois Early Learning and Development Standard to prepare the children for entry into Kindergarten.
