Infant Program (2 mos - 1 yr)
$370 - $400 / week
Our infant classroom is based on the philosophy that all babies need attention and love. We utilize the practice of primary caregivers so that one teacher in the classroom is responsible for the same children every day rather than having both teachers be responsible for all of the children. This helps teachers and children create a special bond and allows parents to feel more secure leaving their children. We utilize a "nonrestrictive" environment for babies. This means that we do not use bouncy seats, saucers or swings. We want children to be able to learn from the environment around them and develop their gross and fine motor skills. We do this by providing the babies with as much floor time and tummy time as possible. Caregivers spend the majority of their day on the floor with the baby to help them learn about their bodies and the world around them.
Toddler Program (1 - 3 yrs)
$330 - $370 / week
Here at The Meadows we want to allow children to explore and develop in an environment of support and independence. Children are encouraged to always try new endeavors and our staff is here to support them as they learn and if they fail, we are here to encourage them to keep trying. Our toddlers get messy, we strive to prove them with as many engaging science and sensory experiments as possible. We will always be mindful of keeping children clean but please only send your child in "play clothes" and not clothes that you would be devastated if they came home dirty in.
Preschool (3 - 5 yrs)
$240 - $350 / week
Here at The Meadows Early Learning Center, we operate our preschool classroom as a mixed age group of children from ages three until they leave for kindergarten. We find this to be a wonderful way to help children learn from one another. The older children in the classroom begin to learn sensitivity, empathy, and leadership skills by interacting with younger children, while the younger children in the classroom strive to do more to keep up with peers and often begin to progress above age level. As older children in the classroom learn more about problem-solving and conflict resolution, this is modeled for the younger children. This greatly encourages the social/emotional connection that children need to develop in their early years.
