There are ten babies enrolled in each classroom with three Infant Nursery Supervisor (INS) teachers. These classrooms enroll starting in September and begin to transition into the toddler rooms the following summer allowing the children to connect with the teachers and fellow students. This classroom curriculum focuses on each baby's developmental milestones. The teachers work to mimic the schedule that parents have set at home with Responsive Care as their priority. Lesson plans are created to provide activities for each student that challenge him/or her to attain a new skill.

Our Toddler classrooms serve children ages 12 months to 36 months. There are 2 levels of toddlers. Younger classrooms enroll 10 toddlers with 3 teachers. The older toddler classrooms are 12 2-3 year olds with 3 teachers. These classrooms enroll starting in September and begin to transition into the Early Preschool or Preschool rooms the following spring or summer. In the toddler classrooms, children begin to learn routine and the schedule becomes a bit more structured. Toddler classrooms have large and small group activities where social and academic skills are introduced. Fine motor muscles are developing and being strengthened and language development is a large focus for these age growth. Toilet learning is introduced in these classrooms as the teachers partner with families when the time is right.

Early Preschool is a transitional classroom for children older than 30 months. This classroom has 16 children and 3 teachers. These classrooms enroll starting in September and begin to transition into the Preschool rooms the following summer allowing the children to connect with the teachers and fellow students. Early Preschool classrooms are an opportunity for gaining confidence and independence, interpersonal skills and more before moving into the preschool program.

Preschool classrooms serve children from 3 years to 4 years. These classrooms have a more social focused program while giving lots of opportunities for academic learning embedded in play. These classrooms have up to 20 children and 3 teachers. Reading, writing and arithmetic are integrated in the play based experiences. These teachers are working to make sure that your child is prepared to be successful in the transition to Pre-K.
