Our Toddler program welcomes children from twenty-four months to thirty-six months of age. Our Toddler program is designed to meet the needs of the young child’s sensitive periods for language, movement, order, independence, sense of perception, body image, and socialization. We prepare our environment specifically for toddlers because children learn best in safe, loving places where they can explore the world they live in.

Our early childhood program is the beginning of children’s quest for independence. In a multi-age classroom, children are able to facilitate their own learning by observing older peers or helping younger students with lessons. During this critical period in their life, children begin to refine their motor skills, both gross and fine, and learn how to move with purpose. Through our wide variety of materials, children grow cognitively by engaging in materials for Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, Culture, and Science. At this young age, children are also taught the importance of grace and courtesy and how to use it in their everyday lives.

Our Kindergarten program is an extension of what the children have learned in their early childhood classrooms. Children learn through concrete experiences and are presented lessons that give them a better sense of understanding. For example, instead of learning the names of the days of the week and months, they are shown through materials what a day is and how it relates to weeks, months, years, etc. During the morning work period, children are able to do individualized work and select materials that are appropriate for them. Our afternoon work period is a large group lesson where we cover cultural topics, science, history, etc.
