Our Two year old classroom at Children’s House focuses on socialization. For most children, this is their first experience with a small group of children. Our nurturing staff will help to make your child’s transition from home to school as comfortable as possible. We teach conflict resolution, social interaction as well as social emotional development. Our daily schedule includes plenty of free time to explore outside and discover inside, art, music and movement, stories, dramatic play, and always includes fine and gross motor development. As the year progresses we introduce developmentally appropriate language arts, math and science concepts through concrete hands on experiences. Children do not need to be toilet learned for this classroom and can also extend their day in our extended care program.
