The Montessori preschool classroom is a 'living room' for children. Children choose their work from among the self-correcting materials displayed on open shelves, and they work in specific work areas.

Kindergarten is a full day program from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Children have a morning break, a recess period, and then lunch followed by a second recess period.

We have developed an Elementary Program that fosters a keen interest in lifelong learning in young children. At FPMS we offer a strong academic program that combines the best of tradition and innovation in education. Our program includes reading, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science and Spanish and is taught by grade-level teachers within the classroom. The lower elementary (Grades 1-2) emphasis on skill building which lays the foundation for independent learning which takes place in the upper elementary (Grade 3)
