Our Toddler Program is designed to help facilitate the establishment of close-knit relationships. Each child is paired with a specific teacher (who they will have every day ) with a ratio of 1 adult assigned to no more than 6 children. This practice gives the Toddler Teacher the ability to truly get to know their young students, and thus enables them to better understand their individual needs and preferences.

Our all day preschool education program "Fun While Learning" runs year round. This kindergarten readiness program, developed by our Program Director, is constantly being updated with the latest in quality standards. We utilize the pre-kindergarten standards of the Fresno, Clovis and Madera Unified School Districts, as well as provide progress reports twice a year to help assess kindergarten readiness. Our curriculum includes a full phonics program emphasizing reading awareness and writing skills along with sight words in easy-to-understand lessons. Math and science activities are also introduced, incorporating shapes, colors, numbers, simple math and hands-on experimentation with natural sciences. Our curriculum is rounded out with lessons in history and cultures, music, movement, physical education and arts and crafts. All aspects of our program are presented through visual aids including iPads, storyboards, finger plays, poems, puppets, books, class discussions and our hands-on computer labs. By incorporating field trips to local areas of interest that correspond with our studies, we bring our themes out of the book and into a “real world” setting. Character development is addressed stressing honesty, respect, trustworthiness and kindness, thus helping prepare the children for elementary school programs such as “Character Counts."

Transitional Kindergarten is basically a 2-year kindergarten program that has been created to enable the children whose birthdays miss the cut-off date for kindergarten. Because of this, there have always been certain kids who are old for their class and young for their class. In the past, these children just stayed an extra year in preschool. Recently, the state has decided to provide for the kids who miss the cut-off date by creating a 2-year kindergarten program. Public school campuses conduct their TK program in the same classroom with the “regular” kindergarten children exposing them to the same curriculum for 2 years. The main difference is that the regular (older) kids in the class are pushed harder and must meet the academic milestones and requirements while the TK kids are not.
